The Smith Fellowship is a partnership between the Society for Conservation Biology and the Cedar Tree Foundation, dedicated to supporting the next generation of leaders in conservation science.
Smith Fellows is a prestigious and competitive program for early-career scientists. As a long-time follower and fan of their work, I was honored to be trusted in giving their website a fresh, modern design!
I worked with the Impact Media Lab team to diagnose problem spots in their previous website that were preventing applicants from getting the information they needed. I created a friendly, professional, and informative website design that included key features such as a news blog page and an archive for past Fellows.

Smith Fellows needed a website that better reflected how it feels to be a Fellow in their supportive and vibrant program. It needed to function as a stronger recruiting tool and highlight current Fellows and their groundbreaking research that they support.
